Urban Fey : The Cast

Volume One : The Cast (in aphabetical order)

Art Fey Uptown Fey		The Art Fey live in studios, galleries, concert halls, and other venues where art is produced or enjoyed. They tend to be critics and rather snobbish.
Lord Asphalt Urban Fey		Lord Asphalt paves the roads and driveways of the city. If there is asphalt or blacktop, he's been there. He spans both the Uptown and Downtown arenas and he is one of the Fey that leads the urban invasion of rural areas. He is in love with Lady Auto, who takes his existance for granted.
Lady Auto Urban Fey		Lady Auto rules the various gremlins, fairies, and gnomes that make cars, motorcycles, trucks and other automotive machines run smoothly. She is sleek, fast, and is easily distracted by shiny objects, new roads, and open highways. She would like for Lord Neon to select her as his Lady. She enjoys taunting the Traditional Fey by going for spins in the rural areas accompanied by Asphalt and Concrete.
Bodyguards Urban Fey		Lord Neon's bodyguards are like shadows. Their job is to defend him at all costs.
Lady Body Mod Downtown Fey		Body Mod doesn't like the title 'Lady', but she rules all the peircing, tattoo, hair color, and other modification fey. She has a fiery temper and is devoted to her lover, Subway. She hates it when the Uptown Fey snub her and treat her as a lesser being.
Brandi Urban Fey		Brandi runs the Urban Sprawl Bar. It caters to both the Downtown and Uptown Fey and is a neutral zone in their on-going battles. She has her own agenda, not the least of which is to get her lover to officially recognize their relationship or at least get whoever he officially partners with to allow him to continue seeing her.
Lord Concrete Urban Fey		Concrete is responsible for the sidewalks, roadways, buldings, statuary, and anything else made of concrete. He is in constant competition with Asphalt for control of the roadways and for Auto's affections. It is an almost friendly rivalry that seldom comes to blows. Like Asphalt, he is taken for granted by Lady Auto.
Coyote Urban Sprawl Band		Coyote plays guitar and fiddle and does vocals for the Band. Really. That's it. He's not up to anything else at all. Why would he be? Coyotes are highly adaptable and laid back. They don't care what the Fey are up to ... not at all ... really.
Dumpster Bogey Downtown Fey		The Dumpster Bogey likes your trash. It's so yummy. And he's friends with all the litter fey and graffiti goblins. He's slow to anger but very strong. Don't make him mad. All he really wants is to meet a nice girl Dumpster Bogey and settle down to have little trash can bogeys.
Fox Urban Sprawl Band		The sly fox plays mandolin and guitar and does vocals for the Band. Like her friend Coyote, she is just here for the music. Never mind that cunning look. If asked about her own agenda, she just smiles and redirects your attention elswhere. Is that Coyote sneaking off again?
Graffiti Goblins Downtown Fey		These diminuitive goblins have special pockets for carrying cans of spray paint that are nearly as large as they are. They are mischeivious and believe themselves to be street artists.
Lady Hestia Urban Fey		Lady Hestia is one of the oldest Fey among the Urban Court. She has been around as long as Humans have had hearths to attend. She was shunned by the Traditional Courts because of her close contact with humans and her interest in the developing Urban Fey.
Lord Neon Urban Fey		Lord Neon rules the lights of the city, from Traffic Lights to Neon signs to streetlights. He is everywhere. He sees what is both beautiful and ugly about the city and loves it all. He beleives he is the one who can unite the Urban Fey under one banner.
Lady Opera Uptown Fey		The elegant Lady Opera rules the finer performing arts and the places where they are held. She is cultured and has little patience for those who aren't. Her lover, Wall Street, appreciates her fine tastes.
Pothole Gremlins Urban Fey		Pothole gremlins are diminuitve troublemakers who swear no oaths to anyone. They love to cause mischief, especially for Auto whom they delight in tripping. They are the bane of Asphalt's and Concrete's existance.
The Rats Urban Sprawl Band		The Rat brothers, Frick and Frack, play the bass for the Band. Frick likes to run the fingerboard while Frack slaps out the beat. They are spies sent in by one of the Old Courts.
Shade Traditional Fey		Shade is a creature of shadow, much like the Body Guards. He works for one of the Old Courts. He moves undetected across the land, carrying messages and orders.

Squirrel

Urban Sprawl Band

Squirrel is the drummer for the Band. She likes coffee and hitting things. No one is sure if she has anotehr agenda or not. When asked, she replies that she has a bass drum named Glenda but she doesn't think she needs another one. Where would you put it?

Lord Subway Downtown Fey		Lord Subway rules the trains, buses, and other mass transit systems. He is practical and a champion for the average working fey. He is slow to anger. He's devoted to his lover, Body Mod with whom he rules the Downtown world.
Thomas Traditional Fey		Thomas lives in the wild places that have invaded the Urban environment, trying to reclaim the land for trees and plants. He lives in vacant lots, unkept gardens, and nature preserves. He works for one of the Old Courts and seeks to keep the Urban Fey from uniting and forming their own Court.
Traffic Light Fairies Urban Fey		The TLFs run the traffic lights throughout the country. They work hard and party hard. Appeasing them will earn you an easy ride through busy traffic. Upset them and expect to hit every light red. They also carry messages for Lord Neon.
Lord Wall Street Uptown Fey	.	Lord Wall Street rules the stock market and all the fey involved with it. He stays in constant touch with them via his handheld device. He is pragmatic and beleives in progress and upward mobility. He rules the Uptown Fey with his lover, Lady Opera
